Responsibilities: Must hold a clean drivers licence Key holder for access to the buildings or locking after the shift (if needed) To work in a team of two. Working a split shift mornings and late afternoons. Hours can vary between 5am to 9am and 3pm to 7.30pm. Hours will vary and applicants must be flexible. To cover vacancies, sickness and annual leave of staff. Cleaning of various buildings:- Toilet areas sanitising all surfaces, toilets, sinks, hand dryers, pipes, cubicles walls and doors and floors Kitchen areas sanitising work surfaces, sinks, floors and skirting boards Offices hoovering or mopping of floors, sanitising desks general cleaning of areas Corridors hoovering or mopping of floors, skirting boards and window cills Communal area cleaning all flooring, skirting boards, window cills, all hard furnishings In some buildings a scrubber dryer may be provided All relevant training will be given The cleaning of all internal areas of the school. This can include any of the following areas:- Toilets, corridors, staff rooms, classrooms, school halls, indoor sports area/ changing rooms, offices and communal areas. Breakdown of cleaning does depend on the individual area, however this can include:- Sanitising toilet areas toilets, sinks, flooring, soap dispensers, hand dryers, cubicles and pipework General cleaning of rooms and communal area hoovering or swiffing and mopping, skirting boards, window cills and hard furnishings such as shelves and desks Sport areas / changing rooms sanitising shower areas and cubicles Staff rooms sanitising sink and work surface areas, floors and any hard furnishings Wastebins throughout buildings to be emptied In some areas a scrubber dryer machine may be provided All relevant training will be given Specialised cleaning will also be required sporadically. This will include deep house cleans in properties where there has been hoarding and other circumstances. This will be explained in the interview.
