Anaplan in either our London or York office is Seeking a Senior Services Deal Desk Manager to join our fast-growing, Global Services Deal Desk team. This position is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office. The Senior Services Deal Desk Analyst role is viewed as a trusted and recognized business partner to the Professional Services Sales and Customer Success Organizations. The Senior Services Deal Desk Analyst Manager will support all commercial-related activities including, but not limited to, deal structuring and pricing, contract creation, review and approval for offers, and providing support to the Professional Services Sales teams on Anaplan’s quoting and pricing tools.
Your Impact
* Provide expert guidance to the Professional Services field teams in the areas of deal structuring, pricing, and contract management.
* Ensure deals are structured and processed efficiently and align with company policies.
* Review, interpret, and confirm contract terms and conditions; work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure all contracts are accurate. Verify compliance with internal policies (and external regulations).
* Responsible for drafting, modifying and finalizing contracts for Professional Services.
* Review and approve deals for Anaplan customers in alignment with internal policies.
* Anticipate issues and initiate actions to resolve them using professional judgment and concepts, company policies and procedures.
* Deal with day-to-day queries from Professional Services Sales teams on Anaplan’s quoting tools and/or CLM system.
* Support Sales enablement through new hire training initiatives and ad hoc training requests as needed.
* Independently drive efficiency and process improvements. Support commercial projects on an as-needed basis.
Your Qualifications
* Requires a 4-year college degree.
* A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance or Professional Services in a SaaS company.
* Requires proficiency with computer applications, such as Windows, Excel, and Word and CRM systems – SFDC, Conga, and Anaplan experience a plus.
* A “Customer First” perspective and ethos.
* Experience supporting global / multinational customer and deals.
* Outstanding business partnering skills – able to interact positively with the Professional Services Sales Field and influence business outcomes.
* General understanding of most Professional Services and Commercial topics (pricing, deal structuring, contracting, etc.); familiarity with Professional Services revenue recognition policies a plus.
* The ability to acquire knowledge of our products and the value they provide to Anaplan’s Customers.
* The ability to acquire a thorough understanding of Anaplan’s corporate goals and objectives and consider these goals/objectives within the design of offers.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities, and meet deadlines on a daily basis.
* Requires strong oral and written communication skills.
