Credit Control Assistant Plymouth, Devon Competitive Salary Our client, a prominent South West-based business, is currently recruiting an experienced Credit Control Assistant to join their rapidly expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, as Credit Control Assistant, you will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of the high-volume credit control processes and ensuring timely payments through effective management of the purchase ledger. The responsibilities: Assist the Credit Control Manager with credit management activities and processes. Generate and reconcile sales ledger invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance. Oversee debt recovery efforts and manage provisions for doubtful debts effectively. Calculate and track supplier turnover rebates on a quarterly and annual basis. Process supplier payments through the purchase ledger system. Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, debtor control accounts, and intercompany transactions. The candidate: Proven experience in credit control or a related field is highly advantageous. A meticulous approach with a strong commitment to accuracy in all tasks. The ability to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
