Job Title: Accounts Manager

Are you an experienced and qualified Accounts Manager looking to take ownership of a dynamic finance function within a growing business? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to oversee financial operations and support strategic business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
* Manage short- and long-term cash flow to support business growth
* Oversee payment runs and manage credit control processes
* Deliver monthly management accounts, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and trend reporting to the Board
* Prepare annual statutory accounts and assist with external audits
* Submit VAT returns and manage CIS payments for subcontractors
* Handle staff payroll and month/year-end reporting
* Identify and implement process improvements for finance systems and controls
* Manage and support an Accounts Assistant, including appraisals and development
About You:
* CIMA or ACCA qualified (essential)
* Proven experience in a similar Accounts Manager role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, payroll, and CIS
* Confident in preparing and presenting financial reports
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach
