International Nurse Coordinator
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday between 8:00 – 20:00 with weekends on a rota basis
Location: Lakeside North Harbour, Portsmouth/Hybrid (after the probation period of 6 months)
Full training provided.

We are currently seeking International Nurse Coordinators to join this critical area of our business.
Duties and responsibilities of the International Nurse Coordinator:
1. Responds to calls and, consults with clients and colleagues in a timely manner and always in accordance with triage priorities.
2. Liaise with patients, hospitals, and medical staff across the globe to ensure the correct and appropriate treatment is being given
3. Complete accurate and focussed reviews and reports
4. Keep Case Managers updated with cover decision or reason for no cover on cases including Consent and Disclaimers/ GP checks
5. Assess when and how patients are fit to return home
6. Deal with all calls in confidence and in an empathetic manner
7. Provide safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care
Experience and knowledge of the International Nurse Coordinator:
8. You must have a minimum of 5 years of post- registration experience
9. NMC registered
10. Recent experience in an A&E / ICU / acute medicine setting
11. Tenacious, enthusiastic, and motivated
12. Confidence to make clinically sound decisions about patient care as a case develops
13. Minimum 3-month office-based training period
14. Potential for hybrid home and office working
