This is an exciting opportunity to join Ty Storrie our Residential Home, which provides short break accommodation for young people with additional learning needs.
In addition to making a positive impact on the lives of our children, there are generous enhancements paid for evenings, weekend working, Bank Holidays and sleeping in duties, additional to your salary.
You will receive an additional salary enhancement of % after pm weekdays, % weekends and £ per sleep in.

We are looking for individuals to help ensure children and young people receive a high level and quality of individual support throughout their time in our home.
You will be working within a team supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes, build appropriate relationships and have fun, being there at every step of their development. You need to be willing to learn and share experiences, skills and knowledge whilst also putting children and young people at the centre of your role.
What We Are Looking For From You
As a Residential Childcare Officer, you will play an essential part in providing direct care and effective support to young people in our short break home to enable them to achieve positive outcomes in line with their childcare personal plan.
Every day is different, and you will face new challenges, we need staff members with a can-do attitude, that are willing to go above and beyond for the young people in their care.
We need our team to help recognise and promote young people’s individuality, uniqueness and diverse needs whilst providing a nurturing and positive environment.
