Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Responsible to: Managing Director
Location: Quality Assurance Department
Purpose of Job: To ensure that our customers quality requirements are fulfilled or exceeded and to ensure the efficient operation of the quality, inspection and heat treatment departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
1) To be responsible for the Company’s Quality Management System. This will include:
* The maintenance and development of the Quality Management System and associated documents.
* Ensuring that the company’s Quality Policy is relevant to overall business objectives and that it is implemented throughout the company.
* All aspects of quality control and quality assurance.
* Ensuring that all personnel are aware of their responsibility to work in accordance with the company’s Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP’s)
* Ensuring that Management Review is carried out in accordance withQAP-12
2) To be responsible for the quality, inspection and heat treatment departments and associated staff.
3) To communicate and liaise with customers on matters relating to quality. This will include:
* Responsibility for monitoring customer satisfaction and the effective handling of customer complaints in accordance with QAP-01 andQAP-12.
4) To prepare PPAP documentation as and when required....
