About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Controls & Electronics Engineer to join our Technology & Design Engineering team at our high-tech Research & Design facility in Glasgow. As a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining our scientific products, technology, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain scientific products, technology, and embedded systems
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary engineering team to achieve project goals
* Develop and implement controls software and electronics design solutions
* Use programming languages such as C or C++ and experience with MATLAB, Simulink
* Design and develop PCBs and schematics
* Develop and troubleshoot embedded systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
* 1-2+ years of industry experience in controls software or electronics design
* Experience with software programming in C or C++
* Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and embedded communication protocols
* PCB design and schematic capture experience
* Embedded systems development, debugging, and trouble-shooting experience
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
