Primary Teacher
Prospero Teaching are currently on the hunt for a Primary School Teacher who would be working in a school that focuses on its core values of respect, care and working as a team.
The school, who are based in Basingstoke, had their most recent Ofsted report graded as ‘Outstanding’. The school have wonderful pupils who will be a pleasure to work with considering their charisma and determination. There is plenty of support withing the school for all members of staff, especially class teachers, this is due to the schools great usage of LSAs and TAs. They work incredibly hard to ensure all Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants are well trained and well informed so that the school operations are sure to run smoothly. Potential for progression within the school is also a great attribute the school possesses.
If you become a Teacher at this school, your day will be filled with fulfilling encounters as well as interactions with lovely people, staff and students alike. The school also follow a flexible teaching structure while also managing to maintain customised lessons for each pupil.
This is a full time contract, starting in September.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location – Basingstoke
2. Position – Primary School Class Teacher
3. Start date – September.
4. Days per week: 5
5. Contract type – Long term.
6. Minimum rate of pay – £150 per day.
7. Hours – 8:00am – 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
8. QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
9. Previous experience working in a UK school.
10. Experience working in a primary environment
11. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
12. Hold Right to Work in the UK
13. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
14. Provide two professional references.
