Warehouse & Auto-palletisation Operator

On-site / Fixed Term Contract - 3-months
The Role
To operate an Automated Palletisation system and perform various warehouse tasks via a range of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) whilst adhering to all safety, quality and procedural controls required to supply our customers with product
What will you be doing?
Utilising a variety of MHE to carry out unloading and put away of inbound deliveries of raw materials, packaging materials and pallets and loading of finished products for outbound distribution. Reach Truck and Counter-balance licences are a requirement of the role. Completing/processing delivery and outbound paperwork and system tasks as required.
Operation of an automated palletising system including but not limited to, general operation of system, interventions into system to clear blockages etc, carrying out routine clean, inspection and lubrication (CIL) activities, reporting any defects found with the equipment and recording reasons for system downtime. Use of a scissor lift may occasionally be required for high level access.
Carry out regular/periodic cleaning in line with established Cleaning Schedules.
Pallet Management/Tracking/Counting - ensuring that production are provided with pallets at all times
Ensure that the work environment is safe and conducive for workers to carry out their duties without subjecting them to any harm or danger. This will include MHE inspections, Quick Risk Predictions for non-routine tasks, filling out a shift safety trigger for the area and carrying out 6S checks to ensure the current high standards are maintained

Essential - Fork Lift Licence (Reach & Counter-balance)
Extensive experience in a warehouse environment
Machine operation experience - ideally of a palletisation system
