The role of the Senior Formulation Scientist – Home & Personal Care is to drive research excellence at Arxada across multiple markets in the areas of personal care & home care formulation, delivering innovative solutions in the form of new inventions and advanced formulation insights and formats for improving preservation and establishing novel format claims related to surfactant, emulsifier and multifunctional uses in these technology areas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cosmetic formulations and a passion for creating innovative products. We are looking for a Regional Account Manager who will play a key role in driving profitable growth and expanding our market share within the assigned customers and territory. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans while fostering strong customer relationships. You will actively identify new business opportunities, manage a robust sales pipeline, and provide commercial and technical support to ensure long-term customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Drive profitable growth and increase market share within assigned customers/territory. Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans to achieve sales, profitability, and market expansion goals. Identify and generate leads for regional accounts, private labels, and converters within the Home and Personal Care sector. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through frequent visits, offering both commercial and technical support. Manage and track business opportunities using CRM tools (Salesforce), ensuring a structured and data-driven sales approach. Conduct regular customer visits, documenting insights and business opportunities in Salesforce. Develop accurate forecasting and demand planning, managing forecasts through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tool. Utilize negotiation, Value Selling, and Cost pass-through strategies to maximize sales profitability. Optimize cash flow by closely managing payment terms and account receivables. Gather market intelligence to monitor competition, identify trends, and explore new applications for existing products. Deliver "best-in-class" customer care to support business plan objectives and enhance customer satisfaction Requirements: Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the Home and Personal Care industry. Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans. Excellent relationship-building skills, with a track record of successful customer engagement and retention. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and demand planning systems (e.g., IBP). Strong negotiation skills with expertise in Value Selling and Cost pass-through techniques. Financial acumen to manage payment terms and account receivables effectively. Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market intelligence. Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
