Job Description
We are currently seeking a passionate Project Surveyor to join our team at Stoke-on-Trent on a 3-6 month contract with a competitive day rate of £460.00. As a Project Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the construction and real estate sector, contributing to exciting projects in Stoke-on-Trent (ST4 1RN).
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee project surveys, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide valuable insights.
3. Oversee and manage maintenance and construction works to the Corporate Property Portfolio, including planned maintenance, responsive maintenance, refurbishments, adaptations, extensions, and alterations.
4. Provide advice, guidance, and input to the design of refurbishment or new build projects to ensure the most effective maintenance regimes are built into corporate Estate Properties.
5. Undertake the preparation/production of bills of quantities, schedules of work, schedules of rates, budget estimates, feasibility studies, specification documents, preliminary particulars, and preambles for contract documents as required for building works including maintenance and refurbishments.
Preferred Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience in project surveying within the construction and real estate sector.
2. Proficiency in utilizing surveying equipment and software.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with a keen eye for detail.
5. Proven track record of delivering high-quality survey reports within specified timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Professional certification in surveying or relevant accreditation.
3. Additional certifications or training in project management would be advantageous.
