Life on the team
This role will provide pre-sales support and post-sales oversight for large and/or strategic opportunities. Whilst the ServiceNow platform is central to our customers' expertise, Solution Architects are the ultimate authority for designing and solutioning on large and/or complex projects where ServiceNow needs to integrate with new or legacy technologies, or where our solutions require complementary technology to meet the customer’s needs.
What you’ll do
1. Work with large, strategic customers to analyse business needs, provide input to the business case, and establish a programme to deliver against identified business objectives and business problems, alongside those already identified as the customer's key objectives.
2. Provide pre-sales support to customers who want to establish a service management roadmap, and advise on the solutions and technologies required to achieve business objectives and/or address business problems.
3. Liaise with customer stakeholders and Computacenter’s project team to understand design needs, constraints, and options on large and complex projects, or in complex managed service provider environments.
4. Develop in-depth ITIL, ServiceNow, technology, and industry expertise in order to advise customers and consultants on new trends and changes within the industry.
5. Lead knowledge sharing activities and be a regular contributor to team meetings.
What you’ll need
1. Solid experience as a trusted advisor to customers for ServiceNow road-mapping and design.
2. At least 5 years of experience in delivering Service Management projects in a customer-facing context, with exposure to the deployment of technology in support of at least some of the following solution areas: cloud management solutions, orchestration solutions, discovery solutions, security operations, governance/risk/compliance, HR, Customer Service Management, IT Operations, reporting & analytics, project & portfolio management, configuration management, asset management, financial management, vendor management, SIAM, integrations.
3. Track record of carrying out pre-sales activities with customers.
4. Solid understanding of ServiceNow developer APIs, development tools, and techniques.
