About the Role: To provide support for product specialists and sales representatives and handling day-to-day communication with our customers. This role involves dealing with general customer requests, scheduling orders, maintaining forecasts, completing quotations and information such as stock availability, technical detail, delivery dates and prices. Responsibilities: Handling general and sales enquiries from our customers Maintain, strengthen and develop customer relationships and sell additional products and services Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate person Quote and lead follow-ups to meet customers’ expectations and beyond by understanding needs and recommend solutions Support in collating relevant data from the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to determine focus, and drive improvement initiatives Liaise inter-departmentally to ensure maximum customer satisfaction Enquiry management, including inputting and updating records in the CRM system Order entry management including sales order sheets (not limited to Key Account customers) General sales team support where required Requirements Essential criteria Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills Excellent written communication and organisational skills Time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks Able to work independently and as part of a team Computer literate with a confident working knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong Attention to detail Desirable criteria Proven sales experience preferred Experience of working with a CRM system Benefits Annual salary of £26,000 26 days annual leave, rising to 30 days with service Employer pension contributions of up to 6% Private Healthcare (BUPA), subject to service Income Protection, subject to service Life Assurance Discounted shopping vouchers Tech Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme
