Key Responsibilities Planning and Delivering Lessons : Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated, and well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners. Curriculum Delivery : Teach Maths to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum and school standards. Assessment and Feedback : Regularly assess student progress, set challenging targets, and provide constructive feedback to support improvement and achievement. Classroom Management : Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment by implementing effective classroom management strategies. Student Support : Identify and address the needs of individual students, including those requiring additional support or stretch and challenge. Collaboration : Work closely with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school to develop and share resources, teaching strategies, and best practices. Parental Engagement : Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and development. Requirements Qualifications : Fully qualified teacher status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Mathematics or a related field. Experience : At least 6 months of experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools. Skills : Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire a love of learning in students. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Confidence in using data to track and improve student performance. Commitment to promoting high standards and achieving excellence.
