Main duties of the job By joining the Imaging and Cardiology Services, you will actively be involved in the development of the cardiac MRI service. The sessional commitments were designed to include 10 PAs with on-call commitments of 1 in 7-weekend cardiology ward rounds. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the cardiac MRI service, providing radiographer training and supervision as well as service-driving development and expansion. Specialist sessions in Radiology will include cardiac MRI reporting. As a senior member of staff, you will actively participate in MDT meetings and clinical governance activities. Education is important to us. Therefore, you will teach and train the junior members of staff, and participate in continuing medical education.
