Our successful client is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join the Bridgend-based manufacturing site. The successful candidate will provide vital support within the finance team, supporting with a range of tasks and ensuring smooth operation within the department. Description The Role: Finance Assistant position within a fast-paced environment Process accounts receivable transactions, including customer invoices, credit notes, cash receipts and adjustments. Update financial records accurately and in a timely manner. Bank reconciliation Support with monthly financial reporting and year-end processes. Assist with audit preparation. Suggest improvements to financial processes and systems within the department. Liaise with other departments and provide financial information for business decisions when required. Ensure compliance is maintained across all financial activities. Profile A successful Finance Assistant should have: Experience in a similar role Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. AAT certification, or equivalent, would be an advantage Proficiency in financial software and MS Office. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong analytical mind. Excellent communication and team-working skills.
