Your future role
As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will lead the Material Handlers to complete all aspects of the material flow throughout the Stores environment. Support and prioritise the completion of the daily activities required to process material within the Stores ensuring good material flow and an efficient delivery to our customer. Identify and support implementation of continuous process improvements. Pro-actively manage the day-to-day safety within the Stores, ensuring key activities and processes are followed by all.
We’ll look to you for:
* Manage and assign daily priorities and responsibilities to the Material handlers.
* Identify and support implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
* Complete and act upon KPI’s.
* Lead regular staff reviews and meetings.
* Where required, support and cover all Material Handlers duties.
* Offload material, with manual handling techniques, forklift trucks and cranes.
* Check delivery quality and quantity of material on delivery.
* Book material into the computerised system.
* Locate material within the Stores by using the correct mechanisms, by hand or using manual handling equipment.
* Update the computerised system with location information.
* Pick and issue material from the stores and update the computerised systems.
* Produce documentation and complete stock audits.
* Pick and package kits for Exams and remote depots.
* Pick, pack and process broken material to the external Supply Chain.
* Using computer systems to manage material to hold accurate information related to all aspects of the Stores function.
* Maintaining 5s standards, completing line of routes and resolving issues.
