Morrello are a private healthcare provider. We are expanding our services and have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist to work as part of a highly experienced neuro rehabilitation team across the community and in Morrello Clinic, Newport Wales.

We are expanding the services provided to adult and paediatric clients with Neurological conditions (including: Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, FND, Cerebral Palsy and other related conditions) as well as clients presenting with complex Poly-Trauma.
The successful candidate will provide a combination of community-based, outpatients and online rehabilitation. In addition, they will work alongside highly specialist Physiotherapists and Technical Instructors, OT, SLT, Psychologist, Orthotist and medical consultants to deliver a high-quality service of hands-on treatment as well as instructing clients with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology in person or online.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a gait rehabilitation service to enable clients to engage in intensive gait training with body weight support aided by state-of-the-art technology (including exoskeleton and FES systems) to provide the most innovative evidence-based treatment programme available.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a caseload of patients from assessment through treatment planning and execution.
We are looking for a physiotherapist with at least 5 years experience who:
1. Has a wide experience in managing neurological conditions at a high professional standard
2. Is organized, a good communicator and has an ability to teach
3. Has commercial awareness and shares the Morrello core values
4. Takes pride and responsibility in their own work
5. Has an interest in the improvement of gait and associated technologies
Due to timescales with our technology partners, we are looking to fill this post asap. Candidates with existing specialist experience in gait analysis and re-education are preferred.
Depending on the quality of the candidates, we may appoint more than one person with a phased start to work.
