The Trust has a free staff bus service between Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital (staff can get on/off the bus at any stops along the route) and a newly introduced park and ride system nearby both hospitals.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our High Cost Drug and Homecare Pharmacy team.
You will be part of a small but important and essential pharmacy team. We provide a high standard of service to the Trust caring for our patients who receive medication via our homecare services.
You will help assist the team in the management of Homecare prescriptions which includes ensuring that the relevant drug is added to local databases and that prescriptions and invoices are processed in a timely manner.
You will also assist in Immunoglobulin treatments dispensed at the Trust and other Hospitals across our region and help maintain National and Trust immunoglobulin records.
Computer experience would be an advantage, with some Excel and Word skills. You will be trained to use the JAC Pharmacy computer system and the national immunoglobulin and other High Cost Drug databases.
You should enjoy working in a team, but must also be capable of working independently. You must also be accurate, numerate, highly organised, have high attention to detail and possess good communication skills.
