Role
The Pyramid is looking for a sessional Community Cook with experience in large-scale catering to prepare meals for our Spring Holiday Club (7th – 17th April). Working hours will be agreed with the successful candidate, full-time hours are expected from 1st – 25th April 2025.
The role includes preparing around 30 breakfasts, 60 lunches, and 60 snacks each day, with support from a Kitchen Assistant.

We are searching for a Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees, who will work with the other Trustees and senior staff to oversee The Pyramid’s finances and ensure they are properly managed. Please note, we employ a Finance Manager, who deals with The Pyramid’s day-to-day financial business.
It is an exciting time to join us, with projects and activities coming up, the ongoing development of our wonderful building, and the opportunity to contribute to the community we serve. The role will be enjoyable and rewarding for the right person.
The role is paid (£25 per hour for approx. 4 – 8 hours per month), with reimbursement of reasonable expenses.
The Treasurer should have experience of financial management and financial expertise in formal settings. Knowledge of governance and current finance practice relevant to charities, particularly SCIOs, would be advantageous. Ideally, the Treasurer will also have previous board/committee experience, and a working knowledge of the third sector. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively communicate and work with the Board and staff team.
The Treasurer will be required to prepare for and attend Board Meetings (currently every 8 weeks) as well as annual planning days and potentially sub-committee work.

Role Overview
As the Prepmate Project Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations of the meal kit project, ensuring seamless delivery, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role involves managing staff and volunteers, coordinating food orders, developing recipes, maintaining high standards of food safety, and optimising workflows. You will also play a key role in gathering customer feedback and providing training to support team development.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of the Prepmate meal kit project.
* Team Leadership: Manage and support staff and volunteers, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Logistics & Operations: Coordinate food orders, manage inventory, and streamline production processes to enhance efficiency.
* Recipe Development: Work with nutritionists and chefs to create simple, affordable, and nutritious meal kit recipes.
* Customer Engagement: Gather feedback from pantry members and customers to improve meal kit offerings and experience.
* Training & Development: Provide training to staff and volunteers on food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Martingale Outreach provides Housing Support and Personal Care services to individuals in the Dundee Area. Individuals live in their own tenancies or with family. Their needs cover a wide range, predominantly mental health issues, learning disability, autism, drug and alcohol issues and dementia.
David Street Outreach Housing Support and Personal Care services are provided to individuals in the Broughty Ferry & Dundee area. Individuals live in their own tenancies or with family. Their needs cover a wide range, predominantly learning disability, autism, and mental health.
All individuals require support to maintain their tenancies, keeping their homes safe and secure. Enabling them to live a good quality of life, and supporting them in the recovery process.
The Role
To support the individuals with;
* Emotional Support and support with recovery process
* Promotion of positive mental health including coping strategies
* Medication support such as administering medication
* Accessing community-based resources
* Support to manage finances and money.
* Maintain personal health and hygiene including personal care
* Support with other issues that arise

Watch Us Grow is a charity based in Palacerigg Country Park on the outskirts of Cumbernauld. We work with adults who have Additional Support Needs. Our aim is to help people become more independent both at home and within the communities they live. We do this by creating purposeful, educational and work-style roles that build skills, knowledge and self-confidence in our students. We work both outside in our public garden growing and selling plants and inside our house where we learn the skills to live more independently.
Job Description
The job will involve you driving a 9-seater minibus and a van. So a clean driving license is required.
We are looking for someone to join our team as a project worker on our home skills and hospitality project. You will be supporting our students to learn how to live more independently in their own home or taking a more active role in a shared home. This will include cooking, cleaning, laundry, organizing home spaces, shopping and identifying any other needs each student may have and working on it with them. You will work with students to create a clear 8-week personalized schedule of learning; you will support students with positivity, patience and clarity and at a pace that works for each student individually.
You will also be part of a team developing a new opportunity which will see students working directly with the public serving refreshments.
Watch us Grow is looking for a person who enjoys keeping a house tidy and in order. Someone who has experience in housekeeping, catering or hospitality but most importantly someone who can guide and support our students to thrive. You will be guiding students, documenting all their achievements and activities, working towards personal goals for each individual, inspiring students to learn more and providing them with a purposeful role.
You will also be part of our weekly social activity evenings which include arts and crafts projects, movie clubs, games night and sports activities.
This job will involve you being creative, organized, good at planning, able to engage imaginations and keep things evolving. We are an organization that embraces and tries out creative ideas.
Watch Us Grow is known primarily for its work outdoors in the garden, we teach about horticulture, wildlife and nature, we grow fruit, vegetables and flowers. You will be required to work outside at times, we are a small team and work together on everything.
You will report to the General Manager and work within an existing and established staff team to develop Watch Us Grow in new and exciting directions.
You will need to be enthusiastic and patient, showing an understanding of people with additional support needs. You will have experience in either Housekeeping, Catering or Hospitality in a commercial setting. You will need to be creative, friendly and engaging.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Collect and drop off students before and after a shift. (Shared role)
* Support our students and volunteers in all aspects of their work offering an experience which is purposeful and fulfilling both physically and mentally.
* Ensure a safe working practice which will keep all areas safe for visitors, members, volunteers and staff.
* Ensure that all Health & Safety and Hygiene legislation is adhered to.
* Help to create and deliver engaging projects for our students.
* Help students to complete in-house and external qualifications.
* Working some evenings and weekends on social activities or on other fundraising events.
* Work closely with all of the Watch Us Grow staff team.
* Work that may include representing and promoting the values and work of Watch Us Grow at events.
* Any other tasks and activities as reasonably required to fulfil the needs of the organisation.
* Driving a minibus and vans for work-related reasons.
