My client requires a Team Assistant to join their business in Newport, Wales, working on a large-scale engineering project.
The role will suit anyone that has been an intermediate/senior administrator or PA to a management team, and someone who is happy to work in an office environment.
Duties are as follows:
1. Manage Senior Team Calendars
2. Take meeting minutes and assign actions
3. Support the wider project team with general administrative tasks and coordination
4. Provide office operations support, including scheduling, communication, and record-keeping
5. Updating of PowerPoint/Excel presentations for internal and external submission
6. Make arrangements (lunch/taxis) for Senior Team and visitors as required
7. Be an all-rounder capable of handling a variety of administrative tasks and responsibilities
Experience:
1. Proven experience as an administrator/team assistant in a construction, engineering, or similar type environment (minimum 2 years)
2. Experience with team/office administration and document management
3. Proficient in MS Office and other administrative tools
4. Strong organisational and multitasking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
The offices are located in Newport, Wales, and you will be required to work 4 days alongside the management team with 1 day being based at home.
Paying a contract rate of £150-£160 a shift with weekly payments, Outside IR35 on a long-term basis as works are scheduled to finish in 2028.
