About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Faculty of Construction and the Built Environment at Exeter College working as part of the Professional Studies department which includes Civil Engineering, Building Services and Construction Management. This department has seen huge growth in apprentices and full-time learners as well as substantial investment into staff, facilities, and equipment over the last few years and this role is to support this growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with industry experience in Civils/Construction with a can-do attitude, offering excellent prospects for personal development.

This includes preparation of materials for use, maintaining and developing a safe and stimulating learning and working environment, issuing and ordering of tools and equipment, manufacturing of products to support assessment using machinery and, for more confident/experienced staff, there will also be opportunities to teach. This will be via a development programme where you will receive a mentor and undertake a L3 teaching qualification funded by the college, with excellent progression routes.
