Sales Operations Analyst Location: Hybrid - Milton Keynes office/Homebased The Role As a Sales Operations Analyst you will be working closely with the rest of the Sales Operations team to provide the Rightmove sales and sales management teams with actionable and timely information on performance. The information, interpretation, and recommendation you provide will form the basis for many of our sales decisions and identifying areas of opportunity and concern – you will become an expert on the sales units you look after and a trusted advisor to those teams. This is a hybrid working role, with a minimum of two days in our Milton Keynes’ office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional travel will also be required. What you'll be doing Providing timely and actionable reports/insights/recommendations to our sales teams to help drive and report on initiatives, growth opportunities, sales performance and commissions. Design, build and maintain various dashboards using the Looker platform to provide live tracking of performance and surface key information to stakeholders of different levels. Plan and maintain sales patches, proposing which customers should be looked after by which sales team and ensuring reports and correspondence are always sent from the correct account manager. Work with the sales management teams to monitor capacity and customer volume growth to ensure sales patches are fit for purpose. Work with the Enablement Managers to help design and model sales commission plans, and then calculate and distribute ongoing; help resolve any queries that arise. Ensure the integrity of the data in our CRM (Sugar), encouraging and challenging the sales force to care about the CRM. Producing and amending BI reports for Sales managers and senior stakeholders. Continuous evaluation of the sales process and identifying areas where we can help the sales force become more effective/efficient (Time, Revenue, Loss, Reports, Tools). Continuous evaluation of our reports and processes, offering a proactive approach. When we look to make changes help us model out the changes and the potential outcomes to sense check decisions. We’re looking for someone who Is a creative problem solver, able to think of out of the box solutions to potential problems Is proficient in manipulating and visualising big data in a clear and logical way to suit different end users equally Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills Has excellent written & verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex information to various audiences clearly and succinctly Easily grasps new tasks and concepts, prioritising accuracy and efficiency in delivering solutions Builds strong relationships with different stakeholders from across different teams Collaborates closely with wider team members to find new areas of opportunity Is confident and capable in presenting to individuals and groups of stakeholders at different levels Self-aware team player, open to receiving/providing honest feedback to peers Ability to understand the wider business needs to help prioritise and focus effort in the right places What you’ll bring to the role Proven analytical skills, able to find actionable and relevant insights Advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel skills Ensure clarity and accessibility in project and process documentation Familiarity with KPI/performance targeting, territory management and capacity planning Manage multiple changing priorities and expectations with clarity and reasoning Break down complex processes into simpler steps, identifying areas for improvement, and guide internal users on new processes Familiarity with Looker, or other data analytics platforms Experience with Sales CRM systems, such as Sugar CRM or Salesforce About Rightmove Our vision is to give everyone the belief they can make their move.
