Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, brings together the 36 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire.
Our Trust offers exceptional support throughout your training. You’ll have the opportunity to train in a base school, with a shorter placement at a second school. You will be guided by supportive mentors who will meet with you weekly.
Your weekly PGCE sessions will be led by Nottingham Trent University at the Clifton Campus. Secondary trainees benefit from subject specific training with expert practitioners, while primary trainees enjoy a diverse programme delivered by a range of specialists.
Collaboration with partner schools is at the heart of the programme, ensuring our trainees receive high-quality, relevant training that prepares them for success. We are invested in your development because our aim is to recruit the very best-trained educators into our schools.
You will:
* Learn from our excellent practitioners to become a creative, talented, and dynamic teacher who places children at the heart of their teaching.
* Be forward thinking with a positive attitude and great interpersonal skills.
* Be willing to support the aims and vision of Catholic Education in school and within the wider trust.
* Be committed to raising standards and have a positive approach to making school life a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all.
* Learn how to adapt your excellent interpersonal skills to work, plan and communicate effectively supported by our friendly and supportive staff.
