Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our site operations on a healthcare contract in Whiston, Liverpool. In this role, you will lead a team of 9 operatives, managing both reactive workload and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure high standards of performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, support, and motivate a team of 9 operatives to complete daily facilities tasks effectively.
* Manage and prioritize reactive workload alongside a robust PPM schedule to maintain smooth operations.
* Oversee the management of site water systems, ensuring compliance and quality.
* Act as Responsible Person (RP) for water systems, with an option for Gas RP if desired.
* Looking after ventilation systems, opportunity to become a AP if desired.
* Collaborate with engineering teams, utilizing technical insights to optimize maintenance processes.
* Management and Audit of Contractors ensuring completion of all PPM’S and reported remedial works
Key Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in a hands-on, team-based environment.
* Healthcare background desired
* Engineering background or relevant technical experience preferred.
* Knowledge of water, gas and ventilation systems management. (Training provided if required for RP roles.)
* Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on health, safety, and compliance.
