Business Development Manager The position is fully remote with extensive travel required in the North of the UK and Scottish area.About the Team: The ZF Passenger Car sales team currently have a Country Manager, A Regional Sales Manager, 3 Key Account Managers and 3 Business development managers, we work well as a team and use each others experience to develop business. We work closely with the customer services team, technicial team and marketing teams. What you can look forward to as Business Development Manager: • Engaging with key customers and buying groups • Company & Product training with key customers • Identifying and developing new business channels • Negotiating commercial agreements to grow business • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, current market activities, and competitors • Using a CRM (Salesforce) • Collaborating with other territory managers and internal teams to ensure excellent customer experiences • Customer trade events Your Profile as Business Development Manager: • Proven field sales development or business development experience, preferably within the passenger car aftermarket • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth • Good understanding of the UK/IRL aftermarket • Mechanical knowledge • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships as well as good presentation skills • Very good and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as sales, marketing, customer services and pricing teams. • Fluent in English and additional languages are a strong plus ZF is a global technology company supplying advanced mobility products and systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology.
