About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Divisional Engineering Project Manager to provide site transformation and improvements across all of our Meal Solutions sites. This is a critical and prestigious role where you will be responsible for driving transformational engineering excellence across our facilities, managing change and capital investment across a number of our projects and programmes.
Reporting into the Operations Director, the Engineering Project Manager will be the lead for all approved and allocated strategic and major works projects across the Meals Division. Directly supporting five sites, the position will lead and coordinate all project tasks and project resources working with key stakeholders across the business as well as external partners. It will also oversee the engineering critical paths to deliver successful large-scale projects on time, on cost and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and co-ordination of all project tasks and project resources working with the Site Directors and their respective SLTs to deliver the facility and assets that meet the project objective.
2. Management through project control meetings of all associated project activities such as training, risk assessments and fully participated design reviews.
3. Ensure all new equipment, plant, systems, construction and fit out standards are compliant with specification (internal 2SFG, customer standards, legislation).
4. Facilitation and leadership of comprehensive project teams in conjunction with the Site Directors.
5. Facilitation and leadership of the design review process for the layout and equipment.
6. Facilitation and leadership of the project critical path through to successful delivery.
7. Management of the validation & handover process to the stakeholders.
8. Direct line manager to any central team project engineers and dotted line responsibility for colleagues involved in engineering projects.

Key Skills
1. Significant academic and professional experience of Engineering Project Management, ideally within Food Manufacturing.
2. Proven experience of following a structured process for managing the implementation of multi-million-pound projects, on time, on cost and to specification.
3. Experience in change/ transformation and portfolio management.
4. Experience in process design/development in the manufacturing industry.
5. Experience of managing continuous improvement.
6. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
8. A health and safety focused approach to projects and work.
