Your primary responsibilities will include:Transcribing legal documents accurately from both written and audio dictation, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Drafting, reviewing, and refining various legal documents to guarantee clarity, accuracy, and completeness. Conducting interviews to gather statements and thoroughly verifying the accuracy of all recorded information. Analysing and organizing medical records as necessary for case preparation, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-structured. Managing incoming and outgoing communications, including client correspondence and inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses. Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, handling phone, email, and written correspondence with a high level of professionalism. Screening and directing incoming calls to the appropriate team members or departments, ensuring clients are connected to the right resources. Maintaining and organizing both digital and physical filing systems, ensuring all records are up to date and accessible. Coordinating appointments and meetings, ensuring effective scheduling while resolving any potential conflicts. Providing general administrative support to enhance office efficiency and contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Preparing and compiling court bundles for hearings and trials, ensuring all necessary documents are in order and easily accessible for legal teams. Required Attributes: Proven experience working as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment. Strong typing skills and attention to detail to produce accurate and high-quality legal documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
