We’re seeking a Language Centre Administrator to join our academic operations team at the Canterbury Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting students, staff, and the wider public in delivering high-quality language courses.
As Language Centre Administrator you can expect to be involved in:
1. Act as a point of contact for all language centre students and enquirers, delivering a high level of customer service by dealing with enquiries promptly and professionally.
2. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Language Centre Director, including managing enrolment, timetabling, group allocation, certificate distribution, scheduling and minuting meetings, maintaining mailing lists and overseeing QA processes.
3. Collaborate with the Data Protection and Assurance team to update and ensure compliance with relevant privacy policies.
4. Coordinate with the web team to maintain up-to-date online information on language availability, pricing (where applicable), and session schedules on institutional web pages.
What will you bring to the role?
1. Educated to GCSE in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above), or equivalent.
2. Previous administrative experience in a customer-facing role.
3. Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages (intermediate level), and experience of using spreadsheets and databases regularly.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing.
