What we're looking for:
🌟 A motivated and qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC-registered and a member of the Royal College. Must have completed NQP Competencies)
🌟 Someone who values relationship-building and enjoys working closely with children and their families. You will be responsible for your own caseload.
🌟 A therapist who takes a child-centered, evidence-based approach to intervention.
🌟 A great communicator who thrives in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Desirable (but not essential)
➕ Interest in gestalt language processing, stammering, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
➕ ADOS-2 trained or an interest in gaining this qualification.
➕ An interest in completing assessments for education tribunals to support children’s educational needs.
Your responsibilities:
🔹 Holding a regular therapy caseload, providing ongoing support to children and their families.
🔹 Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication difficulties in children and young people.
🔹 Creating tailored resources to support individualized therapy.
🔹 Communicating a child’s needs and support recommendations with parents and educators.
🔹 Keeping HCPC-compliant clinical records, maintaining high standards of professional practice.
🔹 Managing your own caseload, with autonomy and flexibility to structure your work in a way that suits you.
