A rewarding and exciting role as a Behaviour Support Assistant has opened for an aspiring SEN teacher, educational psychologist, support worker, or occupational therapist.
This role is ideal for a recent psychology or criminology graduate who has a passion for understanding the triggering factors that cause challenging behaviour. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to cooperate, observe, and shadow trained professionals such as experienced SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists. You will gain invaluable experience and learn from specialists in the field.
In this position, you will work with young learners who display behaviour that is outside the expected boundaries imposed by the school. You will implement specific strategies, provide emotional support, and promote positive habits to improve their overall well-being and social interactions with their peers.
* Full-Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm
* Salary: £80 - £95 per day
The highly-regarded primary school is looking for an individual who demonstrates excellent behavioural management skills, is committed to improving the life of a challenging young person, and can easily adapt their approach and strategies to meet the specific needs of the individual. Relevant experience working with difficult behaviour, mental health issues, or SEN children is advantageous for this position.
