We are now looking for an accomplished and proven HR Advisor to join their close-nit team. This role will be based in their Cardiff office, with occasional travel to the Swansea office. Key Responsibilities: Provide professional HR advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment law. Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring that they attract and retain top talent. Assist in managing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and supporting disciplinary and grievance processes. Deliver HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and development. Help drive the performance management process, including appraisals and development plans. Support the development and delivery of training programs and initiatives. Maintain and update HR records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Stay informed about changes in employment law and best practices, offering proactive advice to mitigate risks. Work closely with senior HR colleagues on strategic HR initiatives and workforce planning. About You: We are looking for an HR professional with a strong background in generalist HR work, ideally within the financial / professional services sector, although this is not essential. You will have a proactive approach and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also have: CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience in HR. Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role. Strong, up to date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. High level of attention to detail and strong organisational abilities. A collaborative and solution-focused approach to problem-solving. Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
