You will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive leadership and management of all pharmacy and medicines management services, including service and personnel development and strategic planning. The postholder will be accountable for ensuring compliance of all legislative, governance and operational aspects within pharmacy and clinical areas. Job Description Collaborate with the facility senior leadership team and pharmacy leaders and key stakeholders across HCA UK in alignment with the One HCA Strategy. Overall responsibility for all medicine’s management services provided within the hospital including medical gases, ensuring the hospital needs are met. Develop and maintain safe and evidence-based medicines management practices which comply with appropriate regulatory bodies, including clinical, risk, quality and financial parameters. Accountable for development and maintenance of policies, procedures and guidelines in line with current legislation and best practice. Responsible for the delivery and provision of a safe and effective Pharmacy service in all clinical areas. Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the hospital through revenue development and effective cost management. Actively participate in departmental budget setting and to be responsible for achieving agreed targets. Provide professional leadership to all pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with the GPhC, Code of Ethics and their personal and professional development. At HCA UK we care about what you care about. CMI Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent or willingness to enrol. Practice Supervisor, Train the trainer or equivalent qualification. Extensive leadership experience. Extensive hospital experience essential. Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is desirable. Why HCA UK?
