The Lead eCommerce Analyst (eCA) plays a critical role in our Commercial team, delivering insights into the performance of the business through rigorous analysis and measurement.
As the Lead eCommerce Analyst you’ll be working autonomously with stakeholders across the eCommerce and the wider Commercial & Marketing function, the eCA provides rigorous analysis and insight, to validate our agreed eCommerce strategies and tactics, support effective decision making and maximise demand, revenue and conversion rates.
Leveraging all available sources of eCommerce data and MI, the eCA will ensure eCommerce tactics are executed effectively, whilst working with the Acquisition and Product teams, to maximise performance across our digital platforms.
Salary : £55,000 - £60,000

What you’ll do
You’ll complete detailed analysis of digital performance, considering web analytic trends by analysing traffic, conversion, revenue, booking metrics and drivers of performance.
You’ll develop reporting frameworks to support monitoring of specific commercial, marketing, eCRM and onsite user experience programmes and trials. Complete detailed analysis associated with projects to prove benefit of key commercial programmes.
You’ll implement structures to encourage understanding and engagement of wider colleagues using our digital tools and data sets ( Adobe Analytics, Foresee, Glassbox datasets).
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the eCommerce and wider Commercial & Marketing teams to conduct end to end analysis from initial brief through to findings & recommendations and their implementations. This will include presenting analysis to wider business stakeholders.
You’ll fully manage design and development of new business processes that have material impact on commercial and/or team performance. Managing development of communication flow from initial hypothesis through to communication of insights and implementation of strategies.
What we need
• Proven analytical capability combined with strong interpersonal skills, the eCA will deliver and communicate complex performance insights to multiple stakeholders.
• Experience using Adobe Analytics to analyse user experience and digital marketing performance of an eCommerce platform
• Strong data manipulation and visualisation skills, with good presentation capability.
• Where required, they should be confident to explore and discuss challenges with their peers and line manager, working collaboratively to find effective solutions to complex issues.
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders, balancing prioritisation of a backlog of cross functional requests and influencing stakeholders in the implementation of analysis driven recommendations
• Experience supporting coaching and development of analytical team members in a range of skills and capabilities
• Experience in a relevant industry desirable (hospitality, airlines, retail etc).
• Knowledge of eCommerce principles such as AB Testing, User Experience and Digital Marketing.
