A brilliant opportunity to work for a family-run air conditioning contractor in South Devon. They are well known in the area for their air conditioning services and are well established. They are a well-funded, safe, sturdy, secure, and overall great company to work for, looking after their engineers. There is no call-out rota to ensure their engineers achieve a better work/life balance.
Due to expansion, they are recruiting for an air conditioning engineer. You will be:
1. Providing service, maintenance, and some installation on commercial air conditioning.
2. Working on all commercial air conditioning equipment - splits, VRV, VRF, multi splits, as well as ventilation and heat pumps if you have the experience.
3. Also working on some ventilation, heat recovery systems, and putting in some ducting.
4. Working with offices, hospitals, schools, council buildings, and shops.
5. Covering South Devon up to Taunton and parts of Cornwall.
Skills Needed to be an air conditioning engineer:
1. Living around the South Devon area - 20-25 miles around the Torquay area.
2. Service, maintenance, and installation experience working on air conditioning is needed.
3. F Gas certificate.
4. Having IPAF, CSCS, PASMA, or a C&G/NVQ in air conditioning would be very beneficial, but experience is more important.
5. Having any ventilation experience, ducting experience, and experience with heat recovery systems would be beneficial.
Salary and Benefits of an air conditioning engineer:
1. £35-38k basic depending on experience, £38-40k OTE.
2. Travel pay.
3. No call-out rota for a better work/life balance.
