This position is for 26.25 hours per week, plus 3 hrs 20 mins MDA duty. This is term time only (38 weeks).
Tendring Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and versatile person, with experience of working in a primary school especially EYFS and KS1. This is for an immediate, or September, start.
You will work with the whole class, with small groups and individuals, be part of the class team and also part of our lunchtime team. The position is a varied role and requires an organised, positive individual who can provide curriculum support and help pupils gain confidence and independence under the direction of the class teacher.
The successful candidate must have GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C or equivalent qualifications.

As part of the lunchtime team, you will:
* Actively engage the children in play and social activities
* Secure the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during the lunchtime break
* Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises

Information about the School
Tendring Primary is a small, popular school located close to the Suffolk/Essex Border, attracting children from a wide area across the Tendring Peninsular. We currently have 190 children on roll. The School is set in approximately a three acre site with original buildings dating back to 1896. The school has extended over the years to include new buildings and extensive outdoor learning facilities.
