Full Time Teacher to cover Maternity Period - Reception and Year 1.
Required for November 4th, 2024 (or potentially earlier if the need arises) until the end of the maternity period.

We seek a person who has a deep understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and can provide outstanding teaching and learning opportunities for the pupils while building on the achievements within the school.

Experience of teaching in Foundation Learning and the ability to teach, converse and discuss through Welsh is essential. The successful candidate will coordinate the Welsh aspect of the Language, Literacy and Communication AoLE and will promote the 'Cymraeg Campus' programme within the school. Additionally, the ability to contribute to the Expressive Arts AoLE and take the lead in our Eisteddfod activities is desirable. The successful candidate will teach the Diocesan approved RE scheme and the 'Life to the Full' RSE programme, as well as contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school. We would like a teacher who can develop pupil wellbeing and advance learning in all curriculum areas through the use of outdoor activities.
