Digital Waffle is currently seeking a Digital Lead with experience across each facet of Digital Marketing & eCommerce to join our client in Birmingham.
A legacy brand, with a well-established Marketing, PR & Communications team is looking to strengthen its Digital offering. They are seeking someone to bring fresh ideas, innovative methods, and a different perspective to the table.
Based in Birmingham City Centre, this role is hybrid, requiring 4 days on-site in the office per week however on the odd occasions there could be more.
Job Title: eCommerce & Marketing Lead
Salary: £45,000 - 50,000
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Key eCommerce Responsibilities:
* Ecommerce Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy, including online store optimization, product listings, and digital merchandising.
* Online Store Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the online store, including product updates, inventory management, and order processing.
* Customer Experience: Enhance the customer experience through seamless online shopping, personalized recommendations, and efficient checkout processes.
* Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Conduct A/B testing and implement CRO strategies to improve conversion rates and increase sales.
* Digital Marketing Integration: Integrate digital marketing efforts (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) to drive traffic to the online store and boost sales.
* Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and optimize the eCommerce strategy.
* Mobile Optimization: Ensure the online store is fully optimized for mobile devices to cater to the growing mobile shopping audience.
* Payment and Shipping: Manage payment gateways, shipping carriers, and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
* Analytics and Reporting: Track key eCommerce metrics (e.g., conversion rate, average order value, customer lifetime value) to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Additional Technical Skills:
* Ecommerce Platforms: Experience with popular eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce)
* CRM Systems: Proficiency in CRM systems to manage customer data and interactions
* Marketing Automation Tools: Knowledge of marketing automation tools to streamline email marketing and customer journeys
