We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Support Coordinator to join our Sales Team on a permanent contract Monday to Friday at our facility in Loughborough. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's continued growth.

How you will make the difference:
As our Internal Sales Support Coordinator, you will work closely and in partnership with our Sales executives to identify opportunities and increase sales. You will research and understand a portfolio of customers, both new and existing, providing exceptional insights of the account history and purchasing trends.
Through means such as cold-calling, video calling, and organising face-to-face visits, you will be looking to engage with customers to proactively understand their needs, identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling from both our existing range of products and new ones.
Your aim is to turn these opportunities into regular orders to the point where they can be handed over and serviced by our Customer Service Administrators whilst you continually find new opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Contribute towards company targets by meeting and/or exceeding set sales targets as an individual and contributing to the team.
* Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success by developing positive relationships with customers. Act as a consultative partner to anticipate customers’ current and future needs to generate orders for new products and services.
* Follow up samples and quotations, converting these to sales.
* Ensure accounts are constantly aware of products and services available, follow up and generate new business through own initiative, social media, and marketing activity to increase sales.
* Help manage a dedicated Area Sales Manager's diary; ensuring customers are visited on a regular basis.
* Use internal tools and systems to manage the day-to-day running of your data, ensuring systems are maintained and updated at all times.
* Liaise with other departments including Transport, Accounts, Marketing, and Production.
* Create KPI and tracker reports as required by the business.
* Undertake duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls.
* Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for personal growth in order to promote products with greater understanding and confidence.
What you will need:
* Proven experience of working in an Internal Sales Coordinator role.
* Ability to deliver excellent consultative advice to improve the customer experience and their business to generate sales.
* Committed to ongoing learning/training to build knowledge and understanding.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Great telephone manner and video call presentation for cold calling and relationship building.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport building skills. Ability to translate customer account history into opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.
* Knowledge of CRM software (or equivalent) and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
* Problem solving with a positive and proactive attitude.
* Excellent attention to detail, particularly relating to data entry.
* Ability to deliver projects and answer enquiries on time.
