KS1 Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)
Location: Gateshead, NE11
Salary: £415 – £430 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Duration: February 2025 – July 2025
The School and Role
Vision for Education is currently seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a school in Gateshead (NE11). The successful KS1 Teaching Assistant will be based in the Yr2 classroom and will provide intervention groups to pupils ahead of the Yr2 SATs. Some experience in this year group is desired, but not essential. This vibrant primary school creates a welcoming atmosphere and strives to give each child meaningful learning opportunities.
Requirements
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND
3. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
4. An ability to work as part of a team
