Join us as a MHE/Services Specialist and you’ll be a big part of this. Role Purpose: Manage and maintain the estate with regards to MHE, ensuring we are supporting the stores and our customers at all times. Create and maintain a robust MHE equipment matrix together with providing strategic leadership & effective management, ensuring high quality customer focused delivery from vendors and development of MHE to support our business needs. Work in collaborating with all internal stakeholders to deliver services that support meeting B&Q's business objectives, whilst understanding and leveraging innovations in the market. Key responsibilities Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities: Management of the stores portfolio of MHE equipment including movement between store / stores Management of vendors, ensuring they meet agreed KPI and service level agreements. Legal compliance - to ensure that B&Q meet its legal requirements through the supply and testing of our Mechanical Handling Equipment support by risk management when required. Communicate planned activity with external third-party vendor to support business activity. Conduct weekly conference and monthly meetings with vendor to review performance and SLA and putting mitigation plans in place if needed. Support in the processing of quotes / invoices when required and verify all invoices against contactable agreements and purchase orders. Ensure all MHE supporting / Tracking documentation is up to date. Support with delivery of cost savings by re-distributing or reusing equipment. Manage relevant issue / queries from store and SSO in a timely manner. Manage communication internally and with vendors. Key point of contact for any Health & Safety issue and communicate mitigation plans to relevant Stakeholders. Communication of any issue to senior leadership team in a timely manner when required. Manage Revex and Capex spends for MHE/ Services and identify any risk or opportunities. Producing and distribution monthly report around budgeted spend. Strategical planning for the future around estate Blueprint Work with GNFR around procurement of equipment and services - working with our stakeholders to translate the business needs to go to market to deliver best value for the supply of products and services. ADHOC store visits when required to support the store operationally around MHE /Services Required skills & experience Skills/Experience Working knowledge of the current MHE Industry. Competent user of Microsoft System Excel, Word and Power point Have good communication and analytical skills. Able to work on own initiative What's in it for me?
