The role Croydon High School is looking for a part time After School Playworker to help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children out of school hours. You will assist in the planning, implementation and monitoring of a varied programme of group and individual activities that seek to widen our pupils interests and develop their participation in play. You will also be required to supervise children during activity sessions and snack times to ensure their well-being and appropriate behaviour. Joining our afternoon team in the After School Club, your working hours will be 11 hours per week, between 3:15pm and 6:00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, term time only, with some additional days to be worked during school closure periods. We are looking for a flexible and committed individual, with previous experience of working in a childcare setting and demonstrable evidence of establishing positive relationships with children.
