£23,657 per annum pro rata
Daily 11.30am - 13.15pm, one morning 07.45am – 9am and 2 afternoons 3.30pm – 6pm, 38 weeks per year, term time only

The Head of School and Governors seek to appoint a highly motivated and passionate Play Leader to join our friendly and hardworking team.
You will:
1. Lead, support and supervise the promotion of positive and creative play at lunchtime and during Breakfast and After School Club in line with OPAL practice and ethos (Outdoor Play and Learning)
2. Lead on the setting up and organisation of equipment and resources for the children to use during playtime
3. Maintain, organise and carry out the replenishment of resources
4. Collect resources (by contacting supermarkets and businesses, visiting shops for offcut materials etc.)
5. Supervise pupils in designated areas of the school (including playground or external spaces) during the lunchtime break, including supervision of pupils indoors on wet lunchtimes
6. Attend relevant training as required
7. Support the school’s Behaviour Policy and ensure that it is implemented effectively
8. Attend to the health, welfare and safety of the children during lunchtime and wrap around care always adhering to the school Safeguarding and Health and Safety policy and procedures.
