Clinical Physiologist (Neurophysiology) Band 5
37 ½ hours per week or Part Time Band 6
There is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Clinical Physiologist to join the expanding and developing department at The Barberry – Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust.
These investigations provide diagnostic support to the Neuropsychiatrists in the classification of epilepsy and/or sleep disorders.
We are looking for someone who is dedicated and enthusiastic to join our small but experienced team delivering a high-quality Neurophysiology service to all services within the Trust and local services. In addition to the clinical workload, the post holder will be expected to participate in maintaining departmental standards, CPD and audit, as well as working closely with the service manager when required with service delivery and future service development.
The post holder is required to have a minimum of BSc in Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) or equivalent, specialist training (ECNE Part 1/HNC MPPM or equivalent), and RCCP/AHCS registration.
The successful candidate will be required to perform adult Routine EEGs on outpatients, on wards within the Trust and units that are off-site, and some in a domiciliary setting. Support will be required with the Ambulatory EEG, Video Telemetry service within the department, and the Home Video Telemetry service.
