As IT Support Technician you will be pragmatic and customer-focused and have solid exposure to 1st and 2nd Line IT duties, excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to thrive in a small team environment.
This business are going through a period of technology evolution so you will also get the chance to get involved with lots of project work including legacy-system upgrades and the implementation of new software to enhance business efficiency and performance. Exciting stuff!
This is a hybrid-working role with additional flexibility as and when required.
Day to day duties include:
1. Providing all round technical support up to 2nd Line support duties;
2. Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques.
3. Determining the best solution based on the details provided of the issue and assist colleagues through the problem-solving process.
4. Provide colleagues with accurate information on IT products or services and offer feedback on outstanding tickets.
5. Execute and have input into internal IT related polices, processes and procedures.
6. Basic administration tasks such as ordering and shipping of equipment.
