We are looking for a Sales Representative to join a growing team based in Derby on a full-time and permanent basis.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday | 7.30 am - 4.30pm
Basic Salary: £32,500 (increased to £35,000 after probation)
Individual KPI Potential Bonus: £1,200 | Team KPI Potential Bonus: £1,200
Holiday: 24 days holiday, increasing by 1 day per year served up to 29
You will be fact-finding and identifying new leads, managing them through to the quotation stage and providing support along the way to ensure the business is secured. This is an office-based role, and you will work closely with the Technical Sales Consultant for technical assistance and support during client-facing meetings.
You are expected to maintain a strong pipeline and independently manage the CRM system to ensure follow-ups are actioned and the necessary sales activities are executed to increase customer base and spend.
This will be achieved through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, Teams meetings, generating proposals, and quote follow-ups.
Requirements:
1. Background of using CRM systems and/or other sales software
2. Search for and develop new sales opportunities
3. Evolve key pipeline activities to qualify sales leads
4. Support the Technical Consultant and wider team to achieve monetary and activity targets
5. Strong research and lead-generation skills
6. Prepare and send sales proposals
7. Quote request information for the internal estimating team
8. Build relationships via all communication methods
9. Have a sales background with a technical mindset
10. Business to Business sales experience
Commission:
1% commission on sales up to £1m
1.5% commission on sales between £1m and £2m
2% commission on sales exceeding £2m
