Business Development Manager - Strategic Accounts
Field based within the UK (must have access to UK’s major motorways)

Business Developers thrive on winning big accounts and watching them evolve over time. They are excited by potential connections, growth of their accounts and recognition by both the customer and CHEP. Repetition in a box-ticking pigeon-hole role isn’t for you; instead, you’re driven by a passion for results and the pride from progressive relationship building.
But it doesn’t stop there for you. You are experienced and motivated, and take pride in helping others also achieve better. As well as taking control and the growing of your own prospect account base, you will assist and facilitate other members of the field based business development team.
You will work closely with the Head of Business Development to present your challenges and plans to grow the CHEP business strategically. You will also be expected to liaise with other senior stakeholders in the business so that we can plan ‘how to win’.
This is a Business Development Manager role that empowers you to make a difference, rather than giving you a list of instructions. We want to harness and develop your desire to network at all levels and in person at every available opportunity, to be part of a team that works to build and execute a business growth strategy and work with some of the world's biggest companies!
You will be expected to create, implement and agree and work a 5 year pathway to success, and will be given access to all the latest business tools including Salesforce CRM, Sales Navigator access, IBP procedures, a list of existing hi-touch contacts and the support of a world class team.
You will be talking to our customer’s about the CHEP of today, but also the CHEP of tomorrow, and through your consistent approach and network will be looking to find the mutual synergies, benefits and partnerships to forge.

Do you offer...?
1. At least 5 years recent experience within Business Development in corporate environmentsAn existing network would be a distinct advantage
2. Masters or Higher Degree
3. Demonstrable strategy creation and implementation experience
4. Stable and progressive career history to date
5. High level business acumen
6. Excellent IT skills withMS Office products - Excel, Powerpoint, TeamsCRM and Sales Funnel experience – Salesforce, Dynamix, Qlik
7. Experience with working in a matrix structure
8. A proven track record of delivering sales growth from scratch
9. Full UK drivers license
