Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5.
* Develop and implement engaging schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the national curriculum.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
* Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Design Technology department.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Design Technology or a related subject.
* Proven experience teaching Design Technology at secondary school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Design Technology.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching methods and technologies.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
