We are looking for a passionate Junior Facility and Safety Specialist who will support the Facility and Safety Coordinator in all the facility management activities and correct application of safety procedures of the UK sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
* Ensure the functionality of the company's general systems, building infrastructures, general furnishings and equipment in collaboration with the Facility and Safety Coordinator in UK and with external suppliers.
Support with the management of planned soft and hard Facilities Management services, including, but not limited to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), Fire Safety, Security, Water Treatment, Waste Management, Cleaning, Sanitisation.
Align and collaborate with the Infrastructures Dept. for any project management activities related to facilities such as office renovation and improvement projects and moves in the assigned area (UK branch).
Oversees the respect for planning Ordinary and Preventive Maintenance interventions on general systems and building infrastructures according with the instruction of the Facility and Safety Coordinator.
Ensure fire and emergency arrangements are in place and regularly monitored.
* Assist the Facility and Safety Coordinator and other stakeholders in mitigating the risk in our operation, including but not limited to Health & Safety, Security and Sanitisation.
Support the Facility and Safety Coordinator in all the activities by working for safety, risk prevention and protection of employees and customers.
Keep track and updates reports related to safety trainings, incidents, accidents and significant near misses.
In accordance with the Facility and Safety Coordinator, highlight risk across all functions of the UK branch.
* Develop good working relationships with fellow Facilities Coordinator and the wider Facility Management team.
Liaise with the Purchasing Team to ensure goods and services are provided in timely manner and at the agreed conditions.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, external suppliers and consultants.
Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise

* A-level Education or equivalent
* Willingness to learn and interest in Health and Safety topics
* Preferred previous experience in maintenance/facility management activities
* Proficiency with MS Office
* Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
